Amit Bhattacharyya was educated at Presidency College and Jadavpur University. Presently he is a Professor of History at Jadavpur University. His major publication include Swadeshi Enterprise in Bengal(1900-1920);National Enterprise in Bengal P.M Bagchi&Co, 1883-1947; Business, Politics and technology Select Themes in the Economic History of India; A short History of the Chinese Civilization: The Beginning 2207B.C-221 B.C etc.

 

Dr. Parna Ghose is Associate Professor, Department of English and Director of Women’s Studies Centre, Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata. Among her edited volumes are Women’s Voices: Visions and Perspectives and Re-visioning Sister Nivedita. She is also the editor of the peer-reviewed journal Newsletter published by the Women’s Studies Centre of the College.

 

Ms. Monalisa Jha is Assistant Professor, Department of English and Joint Director of Women’s Studies Centre, Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata. Her areas of interest include Gender Studies, Autobiography Studies and Neo Victorian Literature. She is especially interested in the linkages and conflicts within the theorizations and praxes of Gender Studies and Feminist Studies, as they play out in the interface between academia and activism.

 

Marie-Caroline Saglio-Yatzimirsky and Alexandra Galitzine-Loumpet are researchers at the Centre for Social Sciences Studies on the African, American and Asian worlds (CESSMA-Paris) and the Convergences Migrations Institute (CNRS).

 

Prof. Durga Basu is presently the Director of Institute of Business Management and Research, Kolkata. She is a Senior Fellow of ICSSR, New Delhi. She was the Former Professor of the Department of Archeology. Asmita Basu is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Finance) at AIMK.

 

Gautam Mukhopadhyay is a retired Associate Professor of Political Science from Gurudas College, Kolkata. His background in both Political Science and Law (LLB) grants him a unique perspective, allowing him to analyse political issues through the lens of both Political Science and legal principles.
